Vinaya

This is a under construction links will be provided for Sangha who are studying English Chinese Vinaya.

Declaration to you the reader:  It is absolutely understood by anyone clicking and reading the links that you are not conferred with precepts of any kind.  Clicking the links only grants the reader access to the written word, no access to precepts ordination by viewing, reading or through spiritual guides or in dreams.

Sangha is only the monastic bhikshu, bhikshuni, the novices: sramana and sramanerika; 2 yr siksamana.  There is no clergy (married or lay).  Buddha was quite clear on this matter.

In the Vinaya there are clear guidelines that you can only receive full precepts by being present to a committee of qualified ordination masters in person recognized as qualified Sangha of bhikshus for men who are novices in traditional Sangha communities (not lay groups), or for women the bhikshunis ordination is conferred only by 2-part presiding Sangha of bhikshu and bhikshuni with the bhikshuni Sangha conferring ordination first then presenting the new bhikshuni to the bhikshu ordination altar in person.

Rare cases being allowable requiring confession but not to be the norm.  This is why the bhikkhuni group is questioned.  Rare cases for the bhikshuni only, is ordination by bhikshus (NOTE: one bhikshu alone cannot ordain even one candidate for bhikshuni. It must be a group of at least 5 with confession afterwards to bhikshu Sangha for it is a breach of Vinaya precepts. It may be 5;5 2-part Sangha, but it is with confession to their respective Sangha elders on not usually repeatable by the same upadhya/ypadhyani)

The only form of ordination recognized in Vinaya is as described above.
